How to use polls

As someone who is relatively new here, I think it would be good for someone to explain to me, and other users, how the polls feature works on this forum.

I know, from what I've seen, even if you select the feature to have a poll, with a certain amount of options to answer with, it doesn't appear in the preview.
So how shall we, new users, go about using the polls?

We never intended to actually have polls here, but it's something that came along with the software. So... we would have to look into it why it's not working and if we'll actually make it work.

Will let you know when there's an update.
